Dream Delight
I want to share a dream, a word, Of raindrop talk and sounds unheard; Of gurgling laughter in the streams, The calm ocean's low roar. Even in a desert night I heard the strains of dream delight!
It told me of that constant joy, The artisans who paint our flights; Gathering colors of our lives, The darks for shadows, The brights for lights.
On an eternal canvas of time, cosmic beauty of our souls Shines finite dreams in hues of blue; Our love of fellow in brilliant gold; Our faith in God in shining white; And myriad hues of varied light for every second spent.
Thus, our framed and finite world, An evolving, beautiful dream; To the morning, to the dreamer, Seems to be the scheme: To awake in glorious light and once again to dream a dream?
All the messages are clear, If listening with your inner ear; You hear a dream that's Truth for you, And instantly create a hue, a color for your cosmic flight, Perhaps a shade more nearly white.
For brightness, lightness of our hues Bring us closer to eternal Love. Here and now within our shells Behold the dreamer of our lives, The universal reason for the dove.
And if you listen persistently and hear the strains of dream delight, Your life will gain much clarity, Hopefulness and light. Your soul in its prosperity Will glow in Love's eternal white.
