OK, this is an interesting one ... and the symbols aren't too obvious to me at this point at all.
The setting: my bedroom in the dream house: large, two beds, light green dense and high pile carpeting, furry and soft bedspreads with some animal prints.
Oddly, in the dream, I had a roomate or sister who popped in and out who slept on the other bed. The room also changed now and then, but mostly stayed "the room."
There were older adults in the house, my sister-in-law was my step-mother in the dream and I never saw my father in the dream. She came into the room once.
Anyway, I'm in this room, straightening up and hanging out and suddenly my dresser, similar to the one in my real life bedroom, disappears, then I look over at the nightstand and it disappears. I'm confounded. Then I look back at where the dresser was, on the right wall as you walk into the room, and it looked as though someone had covered it with pieces of white binderpaper to camoflauge it in a dumb attempt to blend in with the wall. I laughed to myself about how sloppy it looked and how pathetic a camo job, and began to suspect something humorous going on. I also suspected something or someone was playing games with me, someone who could change matter at their whim. Then the dresser changed back to normal and I was calling for my stepmother (my sister in law) excited to tell her what I had seen. She came in and while I was telling her, she changed into my roomate (sister) and we moved things around in the room and liked what we did in terms of redecorating and then we both looked at the dresser and there coming out of a drawer was a little colt's head. A light brown baby colt was lying in one of the drawers with his head sticking out. This was the biggest joke of all. My roomate (sister) ran over and was fascinated, simply amazed and joyous over the appearance of the colt -- delighted! It was then I looked quickly and piercingly into the closet facing us planning on catching a glimpse of the orchestrator of these playful events. Sure enough, there he was, lying on an upper shelf, lit up from the closet skylight, and he was a goofy looking alien for sure. His head was large, bulbous on both sides with large rounded formations on each side of his face, kind of like a male orangutang. He was enjoying feeling the joy he created for my roomate and although he had the chance to disappear to me, he decided to stay and let me see him. He was shy and humble, and his demeanor was not at all fear producing. He wasn't very pretty to look at with his odd eyes, one higher than the other, and kind of a weird tiny mouth and the bulbous head. But he knew I knew he was the one creating all this sillyness and he showed and exuded a compassion as well. Since I realized he meant no harm, and he sensed I was not heavy into judgment, he just allowed me to speak first. I said "Hello. I see you." He said hello back but I can't remember if he spoke through his mouth, and now I can't remember if he had one. Then suddenly, Nick, my son, appeared and he said hello, too, and was amazed and impressed with our alien visiter. It was a big moment. But it was soon gone and so was Nick as the room changed into a kind of stadium scene where a bunch of people were watching a screen in the same vicinity where the dresser was and I was part of the audience. Next to me, to my right, sat an Hispanic man, attractive, and he kept putting his hand on my lower back, sciatic region, and I liked it, but at the same time I was trying to tell him about the alien visitor. Then as quickly as it had changed, it changed back to the room with me and my roomate in it, just kind of hanging out. I noticed some plants that had older bloomed flowers on them that needed to be plucked, so I plucked one out, studied it in my hands, and realized something was inside the old flower, something snakey, a very small little snake. I dropped the flower then picked it up again to find the creature, and its head popped out. The head was that of a snake's, but it had a nose, almost a human nose and its profile kind of scared me, so I dropped it again. Then it gets weird! It started shape shifting, growing, and it tranformed into a huge, muscular, mechanical looking man like a combination human and tranformer (the toy) right there in the bedroom! We were freaked! He wasn't nice! I don't know what my roomate did, but I headed for the bathroom, which was in back of the room. The bathroom was small and all the walls were green, dark green, shiny, with some kind of small design in gold, and before I could shut the door in my panic, a had to let a tiny little creature, like a mouse, who seemed to have as much intelligence as a small dog, out of the bathroom, first. I watched him patter out and then slammed the door, but on the right side of the door, was a rectangular five-inch wide space allowing me to see into the bedroom or anyone could see into the bathroom. Of course I wasn't safe with that hole in the wall! The door was secure, but the wall wasn't!!!
Can't remember anything after that, and I think I woke up soon! I know, it's strange and I can't figure it out! Just sharing it and hoping JBE or someone can help with the symbolism and significance of it.
